It can be common when giving up cigarettes for your body to naturally gain a little weight – don’t be alarmed. If you have a BMI greater than 30 or greater than 27.5 if you are from a Black, Asian and Minority (BAME) community and would like help, we have several FREE options.
For men and women in Surrey, we offer a digital weight loss course that focuses on the importance of portion control, what types of food we eat and why we should be careful about fat and sugar content. These run in an online group format over 12 weekly sessions. The course aims to help you lose at least 5% of your body weight by providing you with the knowledge and skills to make small sustainable healthy changes.
Gloji is our new digital weight loss programme, helping you to lose weight and keep it off for good based on the latest science of what it takes to change behaviours. Weight loss is about so much more than just what you eat! That’s why at gloji, you’ll discover how sleep, food, movement and alcohol can all play a part in your overall health and wellbeing. You’ll get access to delicious healthy recipes, guides, a digital tracker and gloji health mentors to support you each step of the way.
MAN v FAT
For men in Surrey with a BMI of 27.5 or above, we offer MAN v FAT Football with the first 14 week season free. We have leagues in Woking every Monday evening and a league coming soon to Guildford. Fancy getting the boots back on? Don’t let the standard stop you, we have gents that play 5 mins a week up to the full match. What matters equally is what happens off the pitch, make simple changes to your diet, get weighed before you play and contribute to your team on or off the pitch.
Want a new way to lose weight from home? Try MAN v FAT Challenge and take on other teams in weekly challenges based on nutrition, exercise and building healthy habits. You’ll also get support and accountability from your team mates and an experienced coach as well as exclusive resources, recipes and interactive webinars. The duration of each challenge season is 14 weeks.
