Very Brief Advice (VBA) Training
Gain more skills when you complete supplementary online training on smoking cessation.
1.
Qualify for a CPD Certificate when you complete Dr Alex Bobak’s module with the National Centre of Smoking Cessation & Training (NCSCT) to help raise the issue of smoking.
2.
Complete our short (15-30 min) VBA Training in smoking cessation, delivered via Zoom/Teams. Learn more about e-cigarette and tobacco use, the efficacy of a stop smoking service and what a client can expect, how to raise the issue of smoking and how to refer to access our stop smoking service.
Making Every Contact Count (MECC) Training
Supporting healthcare workers to ‘make every contact count’ and develop public health knowledge.

MECC training allows you to deliver consistent and concise health and wellbeing information, encouraging individuals to engage in conversations about their health at scale across organisations and populations.

MECC Train the Trainer 2024 (Surrey)
Already competed MECC training? Take this 2-day course aimed at Surrey-based NHS staff, local authorities and voluntary organisations. Build understanding and capability for the role of prevention in the system and learn how to deliver Level 1 MECC training within your organisation.
